Diving cylinder valves and valves for pressure gas cylinders operating at 200 bar with large conical bottle neck thread are designated as 25E according to DIN standards. In diving, very few new diving cylinders with large conical bottle neck threads are offered, regardless of their size. However, in the industrial sector, this thread type is the most commonly used, whether for 300 bar or 200 bar cylinders. The thread seal is achieved through flask sealing with Teflon tape, tin cup, or aluminum tape. Various outlet threads such as G5/8", M26x2, and G3/4" allow for optimal configuration of the cylinder depending on its use.
Installation and maintenance should be performed exclusively by qualified personnel and only with combinations where the bottle neck thread and valve inlet thread match.
