Double valves 200bar

Double Diving Cylinder Valves in 200 or 232 bar with G5/8" or M26x2 for Various Cylinder Sizes

Many lake and quarry operators, as well as diving associations, now require that their waters be dived only with systems that use two independent regulators. As a result, it is becoming increasingly common to require diving cylinders to be equipped with double valves. Many diving cylinder valves are expandable and can thus be converted to double valves with a swivel or fixed secondary outlet. Other designs are also available as double diving cylinder valves, including V-valves, T-valves, and cross valves, each offering advantages and disadvantages depending on the application. Double valves are available with outlet threads like G5/8" or M26x2 for operating pressures of 200 or 232 bar, suitable for cylinders with M25x2, M18x1.5, and the less common threads with small conical (17E) and large conical (25E) bottle neck threads. The specifications and requirements for diving cylinder valves are set out in standards DIN EN 144 and DIN EN ISO 15245.

Installation and maintenance should be carried out exclusively by trained personnel and only with combinations where the bottle neck thread and valve inlet thread match. Detailed information on the installation of valves for pressure devices, including required torque values, can be found on our website.
