Pressure gas cylinders made from the most advanced composite material, carbon fiber-reinforced epoxy resin, represent a revolution in the production of diving cylinders and pressure vessels. This innovative material significantly reduces the weight of the cylinders. They are particularly suitable for transport by aircraft, use in firefighting operations, and for long transport distances to dive sites and work locations.
These gas cylinders are manufactured using various technologies. The pressure vessel always consists of an inner liner, an inner core that ensures gas tightness. This is followed by a composite material layer that absorbs forces. The outermost layer forms a protective coating.
